At Virat Chatpata Bazaar (Hotel & Restaurant), we maintain transparent policies for bookings, payments, cancellations, refunds, and food orders.
1. Hotel – Payment Policy
- Accepted payment methods:
- UPI / QR Code
- Debit & Credit Cards
- Net Banking
- Cash at the property
- Reservations may require full or partial advance payment to confirm.
- Taxes (GST, service charges, etc.) will be applied as per government rules.
- For group bookings or peak season, 100% advance may be mandatory.
2. Hotel Rooms – Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Direct Bookings (via call, WhatsApp, website, or walk-in):
- Cancellation made 24+ hours before check-in → Full refund (after deducting transaction charges).
- Cancellation made within 24 hours of check-in OR No Show → 1 night’s tariff will be charged.
- OTA / Third-Party Bookings (Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, etc.):
- The cancellation & refund rules of that platform will apply.
- Refund Processing (Hotel Bookings):
- For direct bookings → Refund within 1–7 business days.
- For OTA bookings → Refund timeline depends on the respective OTA’s policy.
3. Restaurant – Order & Payment Policy
- Orders can be placed through:
- Direct Call
- Website
- From Hotel Rooms / Walk-in
- Priority is always given to direct call & WhatsApp orders.
- Order Preparation Time: 30 minutes (for all orders).
- Home Delivery:
- Delivery available within 2 km radius – Free of cost. (Minimum Order velue 300 INR)
- Delivery time: 30 minutes (preparation) + 30 minutes (delivery) = Approx. 1 hour.
- Delivery time may vary depending on availability, traffic, or order size.
- Beyond 2 km – Delivery is not available.
- Packaging Charges: Applicable as per order size and items.
4. Restaurant – Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Orders placed via Cash on Delivery (COD) or Hotel Room Service can be settled after order fulfillment.
- For Advance Payments (Website / Online / Home Delivery):
- Once order payment is received, it is non-refundable.
- Refund is possible only if:
- Natural calamity,
- Chef unavailability,
- Ingredient shortage,
- Or if restaurant is unable to prepare the order for any valid reason.
- Refund Processing (Restaurant Orders):
- Refunds will be made within 1–7 business days.
- Refund mode: Same account, cash refund, or as mutually discussed.
5. Force Majeure (Hotel & Restaurant)
In case of events beyond our control (natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, etc.), the hotel/restaurant may:
- Offer full refund, OR
- Provide a credit note/voucher for future use.
